Negar Nazari

Graduated Summer 2017
Master's of Science in Petroleum Engineering
Primary office:

Summary

Negar received her B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering at Petroleum University of Technology, Khuzestan, Iran and her M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering here at the University of Kansas working with Dr. Reza Barati. She had two internships: one at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and the other at Schelumberger. Her research focus was focused on understanding the mechanism of stabilizing the surfactant generated CO2 foam using polyelectrolytes and polyelectrolyte complex nanoparticles (PECNP) prepared in high salinity produced water. Her M.Sc. project was funded by NSF and a consortium of oil and gas companies. She was involved in different projects such as reservoir characterization and simulation, seismic data interpretation, advanced reservoir simulation, unconventional resources, low salinity waterflooding and acid reaction measurements for matrix acidizing during her M.Sc. Her other research interests include EOR, unconventional resources, hydraulic fracturing and numerical simulation.

Negar is now a PhD student at Stanford University. To see what else she is doing now, visit her LinkedIn Profile.
