Summary

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Georgia State University in 2014. I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering under the guidance of my advisor Dr. Reza Barati. My research includes the application of nanoparticles as fluid loss additives in hydraulic fracturing fluids as well as drilling fluids. I am also researching their capability to be used as carriers for breaker enzymes in drilling fluids.  In addition to research, I am a teaching assistant for the Reservoir Engineering course in the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering department. During my first year as a graduate student I received the Ernest Lyder Memorial Fellowship. In my free time I enjoy hiking, backpacking, and anything that gets me outdoors.
