Student Involvement

There are many opportunities to get involved with student organizations as an undergraduate or graduate student in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering. Studies show being involved in college has many benefits, such as helping students create social networks, solidifying concepts taught in the classroom, and providing opportunities to connect with mentors throughout KU. Being involved can even increase students' graduation rates!

The main KU Student Organization link is Rock Chalk Central. There you can find all sorts of social, religious, academic, and service groups to join.

Another huge campus office is SILC, the Student Involvement & Leadership Center. There you can find more leadership and community involvement related organizations.
